MEMORANDUM FOR MRS. REED:
Patriation of the constitution
Thank you for your memorandum of yesterday with the attached memorandum from Fred Gibson. I am returning them herewith and you will note a few comments and queries.
I found Fred Gibson’s suggestions very helpful and I have adopted most of them in the revised version which you will find as Appendix 1 to a memorandum to the Prime Minister, a copy of which is attached. Would you please let me have any comments you may have either later today or tomorrow morning.
