DISUNION IN THE CABINET.
The Quebec correspondent of the Toronto Leader announces that difficulties have arisen in the Cabinet which are likely to prove “the beginning of the end” of the Coalition. The Reform section of the establishment are said to be desirous of abandoning Confederation entirely and taking up the alternative promised Parliament at the formation of the Cabinet, whilst the Conservatives desire to try the effect of Imperial influence on New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. What amount of truth there may be in the announcement, it is of course impossible to say at present, but the probabilities of the case indicate that the correspondent is not far astray.
