THE CONSTITUTION

SPECIAL JOINT COMMITTEE—CHANGES IN COMMONS MEMBERSHIP

The Hon. the Speaker informed the Senate that messages had been received from the House of Commons to acquaint the Senate with changes in the list of members appointed to serve on the Special Joint Committee on the Constitution of Canada.

SPECIAL JOINT COMMITTEE—COMMONS MESSAGE

The Hon. the Speaker: Honourable senators, a message has been received from the House of Commons in the following words:

Wednesday, February 4, 1981

Ordered,That a Message be sent to the Senate to acquaint Their Honours that, notwithstanding any previous Order, the Special Joint Committee on the Constitution of Canada shall complete its work and make its final report not later than February 13, 1981. Attest:
