PROVINCE OF SASKATCHEWAN AUTONOMY BILL.

THIRD READING.

Hon. Mr. SCOTT moved the third reading of Bill (70) An Act to establish and provide for the government of the province of Saskatchewan. He said :

I presume, if hon. gentlemen desire, the same amendments may be considered as having been moved to this Bill as were moved to Bill (69).

Hon. Mr. LOUGHEED—I would suggest that the same amendments be printed in the minutes as having been moved to this Bill, and the same division being taken.

Hon. Sir MACKENZIE BOWELL—Can it be possible the hon. gentleman wants to forego making that speech and having it appear in the debates. Perhaps we might adopt the same principle with reference to this, and have the speeches appear in Hansard the same as in the case of the former Bill. Let us take it for granted the hon. gentleman has made his speech and also that the remainder of the speeches have been made.

The motion was agreed to, and the Bill was read the third time and passed on the same division as Bill (69).
