Cabinet at Lord Derby’s. He is better but still obliged to keep within doors.
We went through the Queen’s Speech, discussing at great length the sentence on Reform. I suggested a slight amendment which was adopted.
Met the Delegates at the C.O. They gave in as to the constitution of the Legislative Council, suggesting a complicated but still an improved plan. I promised to consider it.
Gave Disraeli the memorandum drawn up by the Delegates on the Guarantee.
