The Canada Conference.
QUEBEC. Thursday, Oct. 20. The Confederation Conference has decided in references to members of the Legislative Council of the new Confederacy, that they are to be selected from the members of the Legislative Councils of the various Provinces, instead of being elected by the people. Provision is made for the admission of representatives from the Red River country.
The Conference are engaged in the discussion of the apportionment in the discussion of the approportionment of the representation of the Lower House.
